The Construction
We were established to provide premium fabrics and construction without the premium price. Unlike the majority of suits that are advertised, which are fused (glued together) or half-canvassed (only upper part is canvassed), we provide a full canvas as a standard.
A full canvas stretches from the shoulders to the end of the jacket. This is crucial in providing a natural drape of the jacket over your body, over time molding to your unique body shape. This form is held, especially when walking around town, with the jacket moving with you. Ultimately, the longevity of the suit is unmatched, lasting years to decades with proper care.
This way of construction is labor intensive, so the prices are higher when compared to other methods (fused, half canvas), but our process enables us to provide this stunning level of quality at reasonable prices.
The Fabric
For the fabrics, we have chosen to use Merino wool because of its high quality and feel. Our manufacturers are licensed under the Woolmark Company that ensures proper quality control. We have chosen to use Super 100s – 120s from China and Italy because of the quality, durability and longevity.
